ROCKFORD DAY CAMP EARNS SILVER FOR SCOUTS
What started off as a sleepover between friends turned into a brainstorming session for the 2005 Rockford Neighborhood Girls Game Day Camp. Cadettes Jackie Reedy and Mandi Dickinson had learned from their moms that the neighborhood needed Day Camp directors and took on the challenge for their Silver Award. With the help of fellow Cadette, Maria Albano, the three girls planned and directed 103 girls and 63 adults at this year's camp held at Camp Rockford . A big thank-you also goes to their advisors, Beth Reedy, Rockford Green Angel recipient for 2005 and Beverly Dickinson, 2005 Outstanding Volunteer.
