Outdoor Adventure
Michigan Trails offers many outdoor adventure opportunities for girls of all age levels. From winter weekends at camp to camping "tasters" for Brownies, Girl Scouting gives girls a chance to explore the great outdoors.
Outdoor activities help girls develop skills and life long interests in a wide range of outdoor pursuits. Through the Girl Scout program, girls are exposed to new, exciting concepts, learn more about areas that interest them, building self-esteem, goal setting, and helping girls develop their full potential.
Here are just a few of the events we offer throughout the year:
Winter Weekend - a weekend of outdoor adventure in the snow at Camp Anna Behrens
Me & the Girls - a weekend where dad or other male role models can spend quality time with their girls at Camp Anna Behrens.
Leader Daughter - a weekend of quality time and lots of fun with Girl Scout leaders and their daughters.
Brownie: Ready, Set, Go Camping - Brownie Girl Scouts learn new skills, explore nature, sing songs and earn the Ready, Set, Go Camping Try-It.
Super Service Weekend/Day - Girl Scouts spend the day giving service to Camp Anna Behrens.
Carabiners - Michigan Trails teen outdoor adventure group. The group backpacks and canoes throughout Michigan and the United States.
Reference your Volunteer Resource Book or Teen Calendar to find out when these programs are offered. For more information , please email service.center@gsmt.org.
