There are many ways you can support Girl Scouting activities in your community. You can volunteer your time or your talents or make a financial gift to support the Girl Scouting program in Kent, Ionia, Mecosta, Montcalm, Osceola, and Ottawa counties.

The goals of the Girl Scout program are found in these four program emphases: Developing self potential, relating to others, developing values, and contributing to society.

With the leadership and financial support of capable and caring community members, Girl Scouts of Michigan Trails will be able to carry on the Girl Scout tradition, started in 1947, of helping girls grow strong!

1. Helping Girls Grow Strong Campaign

The challenges facing girls today have never been more daunting, nor have the opportunities been more abundant and exciting. Yet, to fully grasp the possibilities that await them, girls need to be able to find their own self-worth, their own talents and their own dreams. Only by realizing their full potential will girls be able to mature and develop into the strong, capable women of the future. One such pathway to self-discovery is through the Girl Scout program.

Your gift to Girl Scouts of Michigan Trails is a gift for girls—one that will help them realize their dreams and become tomorrow's leaders. Through your generosity, they will grow into active and engaged members of their communities and develop their full potential in business, sports, government, science, education, and the arts.

2. Family Partnership Campaign

You can help a girl participate in Girl Scouts by making a family gift to the opportunity fund.

Your gift will help a girl pay for: Membership, Camperships, Books, Badges and sashes, Event fees, troop dues.

Each family that contributes at least $20 will receive a Family Partnership Fun Patch for
their Girl Scout(s). Families with multiple Girl Scouts will receive a patch for each daughter. To receive the patch, continue to complete the online giving form.
