Summer Camp Employment Opportunities You have taken the first step to one of the best summers of your life! Camp Anna Behrens is a residential camp located 45 minutes North of Grand Rapids. Anna Behrens is the ideal place to grow and learn during the summer months. Situated in a beautiful pine and oak forest , the nearly 500 acre camp is an excellent place for hiking, cookouts, archery, horseback riding, and nature study. Lake Lester and the meandering Flat River provide the perfect spot for waterfront fun – swimming, canoeing, and kayaking. All staff members receive training in first aid and CPR, camp and program skills, operational and emergency procedures, leadership skills, age level characteristics, positive discipline and conflict resolution. The following are provided for all staff: room, board, laundry facilities, access to web-based email and a staff lounge. Salary is based on experience, skills and certifications. We are willing to work with your college and university to provide internship opportunities. Camp Anna Behrens is a drug and alcohol-free environment. Tobacco products are not allowed on camp property. We price ourselves on providing a safe, supportive, educational and fun camp community for both campers and staff. Staff should be ready to work hard and enjoy the best summer of your life. Summer Camp Season Girl Scouts of Michigan Trails is offering both resident and day camp this year. Summer program begins in June and ends in August. Employment dates vary depending on the program and location of employment. Please review the job descriptions in the summer positions section for actual dates of employment. All staff members are required to attend pre-camp training.
